Fun & Funky Logo Design for Tobias the Rat Pig

Category : Sketchbook · No Comments Jun 21st, 2015

A few weeks ago, I found Tobias the Rat Pig at the Scituate Animal Shelter. He’d been there a week. We clicked immediately and now he’s my trusty sidekick.

He’s a cool, porky mutt with a little rat tail on a mission to rule the universe.

In need of a web presence to showcase his world domination skills, I created a fun & funky logo along with a website documenting his tyranny.

It’s a Small World Photography Series: Juno Blizzard 2015 Sneak Peek

Category : Sketchbook · No Comments Jan 30th, 2015

The Juno Blizzard of 2015 came and went dumping 26″ of snow in Boston. At least it was cold enough to where the snow was light and fluffy making the snow shoveling process slightly less painful.

I did take advantage of the aftermath and this morning’s snow flurry and got some shots in to add to my “It’s a Small World” photo series. The above is a sneak peek of what’s to come.

I’ve retired my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX150 — can’t find the charger to save my life — but it’s been replaced with the Canon PowerShot S95, which has been quite an improvement. So I’m alternating between that and the iPhone 5.

This project is a nice break from my design and illustration work. Sometimes, I can only stare at my pretty, shiny Mac monitor for only so long.
